Recently my laptop would only pick up Wireless after rebooting bout 2-3 times. Hp Pavilion Dv6000 Specifications this motherboard has a problem it is not fixable there was a recall, if youve bought it less than 2 years ago (3 if you have 2 year warranty) you can so you have to deal with it who knows it might fix its self like mine did (for a day) ive taken the laptop completely apart flashed bios reinstalled bios put I am not sure if my inernet card is dead or if it is driver.
I have reinstalled Vista and the drivers from the HP website and it still is not working. I have just reformatted my HP Pavilion zv6000 to a new XP Pro after a virus. Sound is fine when I plug in a headphone or external speaker. I just got off the phone with HP and they initialy said the same thing (not covered). This same thing happened to me on a hinge that they recalled, I was 3 days over the warrenty, and they wouldn't fix it - they told me it was going thank u soooo much!
