What PC/Internet set-up do I need to use BigPond TV?

BigPond Broadband
The minimum recommeded plan is 512k. BigPond Broadband customers who are on the 256k plan can still use the Guide but we don't recommend it.

PC Computer
1 GHz computer with an accelerated video card and 256 Mb of RAM.
Windows Operating System
The Guide has been designed to work with Windows XP.
Screen Resolution
The Guide is designed to run at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768
Web Browser
Internet Explorer 6. You can download the latest version from Microsoft
Flash Plugin
Latest version required. Download here
Media Player

BigPond TV gives you access to all of the 24hr video channels and videos on demand at BigPond. It’s also a gateway into BigPond’s live webcasts -- live panel shows, matches and music concerts for example.

No bandwidth charge for BigPond customers
All BigPond channels and BigPond TV videos are free and unmetered so they don’t count towards your monthly bandwidth usage limit. This applies to all BigPond Broadband Cable & ADSL Members.

Non-Windows operating systems
Please note that BigPond TV is not supported on any other Operating System such as Unix or Apple. Please check the recommended programs and operating systems outlined in question 1 to get the best experience from BigPond TV.
